This page explains what Gold Palm Homes collects, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We have tried to keep it in plain English.
The short version
- You can search homes, save favorites and compare properties without creating an account.
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We email you about your own activity, and every message has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us what we have about you, correct it, or ask us to close your account.
What we collect
If you use the site without an account
Your favorites and showing cart are saved in your own browser, so they are still there when you come back. We also keep normal server logs, including your IP address, for security and troubleshooting.
If you create an account
Your name, email address and password, plus a phone number and photo if you want to add them. Your password is handled by our login provider and stored as a hash we can't read.
What you do while signed in
Saved searches and the priorities you set on them, homes you favorite and any notes you add to them, showing requests, and messages between you and your agent.
If you ask what your home is worth
Your name, email, phone number, the property address, and anything you tell us about your timing. We use recent nearby sales to put together a report, and we keep a copy so your agent can go over it with you later. Each report shows the date it was prepared.
If you apply to join the brokerage
Your name, email, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
Public records
We work with property records published by Florida county property appraisers. These are public records that anyone can get from the county. We use them to help value homes and, in some cases, to mail property owners about selling. If you'd rather not get mail from us, email admin@goldpalmhomes.com and we'll add you to our do-not-mail list.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. Those can't be turned off, since the site doesn't work without them.
We may also use analytics cookies, to see which pages people actually use, and advertising cookies, to measure our ads and show them to people who visited before. You can turn either of those on or off whenever you like using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. If we add a new tool of that kind, it shows up in the list of services below.
Email and notifications
If you save a search or favorite a home, we email you when something changes: new matches, a price change, a home going under contract. You control how often, including turning it off completely, from your profile. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Messages needed to run your account, like a password reset, are sent either way.
Who else sees your information
Your agent at Gold Palm Homescan see your saved searches, favorites, showing requests and the messages you send them. That's the point of the tool: they're working with you.
We also use these services to run the site. They handle data on our behalf.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people using the site.
MLS requirements
The listings on this site come from Stellar MLS through its Internet Data Exchange program. As part of that access, we keep records of how listing data is used on the site and share them with the MLS if it asks. Some of those records are kept after an account is closed. They are not used for marketing.
How long we keep things
- Account information: while your account is open, and after it closes as described above.
- Sold listing data: a rolling 24 months.
- Do-not-mail requests: indefinitely, since that is what makes them work.
Your choices
You can view and correct your information from your profile, change or turn off email notifications anytime, and ask us to close your account. You can also ask what we have about you and ask us to delete it. Email admin@goldpalmhomes.com and we'll get back to you.
If we have to keep something, like the MLS records above or records we're required to keep as a real estate brokerage, we'll tell you what and why.
Children
This site is meant for adults looking for a home. It isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
